I don't publish personal resident investigations on this web site due to privacy issues, but this family agreed to have their experiences published. Here is a log of a family who lives in a haunted house. A complete investigation of this home was done and we did conclude that there is unusal paranormal activity at the site. I belive the activity is coming from former residents of the land rather than the house itself.

There are many reasons why El Dorado County in Placerville, California is considered one of the most active places in California. Gold was discovered in Coloma, only 11 miles from the county seat in Placerville in 1848. When people flooded into the area to try their luck at getting rich, they were lawless. Placerville was called "Old Hangtown" at that point because they had two hanging trees... and both were kept very busy!

I joined Nancy Bradley and Robert Rupert's Gold Rush Ghosts crew at the haunted, Pinky's. The bar is situated near a waterway, so the spirits were able to give us quite a show!

Christine joined Ghostrider Paranormal Investigations for an exciting adventure in Virginia City, Nevada. The entire town is haunted and we found lots of the spirit residents!

After living 13 years in California, Christine moved back to her home town in Ohio in August, 2009. The investigations from this point on are of mid-west areas.

EDPI team members, Darlene and Leanne S., Pat E. and I went on an evening tour of Canal Fulton. It has a wild history because it was a favorite stop for travelers on the Erie Canal--and some of the visitors liked the area so much they statyed!

This 150 year old Victorian Home has been the location of a few different restaurants in the past 30 years. There are quite a few frequent guests that can't been seen, but they still make themselves known to the employees.

The A.I. Root Candle Company started out as a Bee supplier in the late 1800's. Many Root relatives have owned and run the business since then in the same building where it began in Medina, Ohio. Although many of the former Root family members have passed on to the other side--they still make visits to the old building just to make sure the newer generation is doing a good job of running the place.

The Buxton Inn has had a long reputation for being haunted. The owners are open about this fact and encourage paranormal investigations there. I highly recommend it as a bed and breakfast and as an object of investigation!

EDPI and Munroe Falls Paranormal Society teamed up on this extremely interesting investigation. Among the things that we experienced during the investigation is a full apparation and two small spirits running right through me. What a feeling that was!

March 25, 2011 Christine and three of her EDPI investigators traveled to Gettysburg, PA for an investigation. We stayed two nights and explored some of the many interesting hanunted locals in this revered city. We felt the presence of spirits everywhere we visited and were in awe of the energy that still remained there. Here are some of the hightlights of our investigation:

Gettysburg Investigation-May 25-27, 2011

The EDPI team had an interesting day exploring Hale Farm and Village. There are several buildings at the attraction that are circa early 1800's. Many of the buildings have been moved from other locations--and when they brought the buildings, they brought the resident spirits with them.

Six EDPI team members drove down to soutern Ohio to Lebanon to the oldest running Inn in Ohio, The Golden Lamb. The five women stayed in the most haunted room, #227, the Martin Van Buren room for two nights. It was hot but thank goodness most of our investigations were inside with the air conditioning. It was worth battling the heat, as we captured some amazing evidence at the Golden Lamb.

The Mansfield Reformatory is one of the most haunted buildings in Ohio, and for good reason. Over 15,000 inmates have resided at the reformatory during its years of operation. One would think that there would be a great deal of negative energy at the prison, but all of our team sensitives found only sadness and depression.

The Prospect Place Mansion reported to be one of the most haunted residences in Ohio. It was a station for the Underground Railroad, so it was the site of a great deal of energy. There were also seveal people who died on the property... including a slave bounty hunter who was hung in the brick barn.
